Sky Stage is an interactive community arts initiative and project of the Frederick Arts Council; we work with several presenting organizations as well as individuals to program the space.  The open-air theater offers arts and cultural activities for children and adults including drama, music, children’s story time, drum circles, yoga classes, poetry, literature, dance, comedy and improv, and artist/maker markets regularly for a 6-month season spring-to-fall. Across the past several seasons since opening, offerings have also included film, art classes, folklore, history, naturalists, and environmental education.

Sky Stage may also be rented for private events based on availability outside of regular programming. To inquire, email skystage@frederickartscouncil.org, or fill out the same form linked in the paragraph below.

If you are a performer, educator, artist, or yoga instructor, (or just a person with a great idea) and you would like to run or participate in an event, please fill out this form to inquire or submit your idea.
